Pattern testing is always so much fun when I see the pattern testers pouring their own creativity and style into my new patterns.
I love seeing what they make and I'm always positively surprised by a couple of them, for example when someone uses a fabric type I myself haven't tried for that pattern, or styled it differently than me.
Thank you so much to the wonderful crew of testers who joined the Alma jacket pattern test! Your feedback is so valuable! Let's look at some of their photos.
With Alma there weren't any changes made to the pattern after the test.
Sewn by Nicole (@nic_naait) in size 36. Nicole sewed an unlined, long Alma jacket, with 3/4 sleeves. She used a woven, medium weight fabric.
Anja (@a_siwsiw_thing) used a linen look rayon fabric for her unlined Alma jacket. She made the long version, with long sleeves, and sewed size 52.
Fanny (@fs.syr) chose the short version of the jacket and made it lined. She used teddy fabric and lined it with a quilted fabric. She sewed size 42.
Sewn by Ann-Caroline (@moralvamadebyankie) sewed size 34. She chose sew a long jacket with long sleeves, and line it. Her outer fabric is a woven wool/polyester blend, and the lining is an acetate lining.
Frida (@baralitetill) sewed the long jacket with 3/4 sleeves, unlined. She made size 36, and the fabric is light-weight cotton.
Daniela (@dunder.vidunder) made a lined jacket in size 40. She chose the short version, with 3/4 sleeves. The outer fabric is an upcycled curtain, medium weight. The lining is a light weight voile.
Sewn by Ida (@ida_syr) showing us the Alma jacket looks gorgeous with a pregnant belly too :) This is size 48, a unlined jacket in long length, sewn in a light-weight woven fabric.
Kristin (@syttavkristin) made this short Alma jacket, in size 38. She made it lined, with corduroy for outer fabric and lined it with some shiny lining fabric.
Sewn by Matilda (@essebro.collection) in size 44. Matilda chose the long jacket version, with long sleeves. The jacket is unlined, sewn in a linen blend woven fabric.
Julia (@julia_skapar) sewed size 36, the short jacket. She made it lined and used a woven linen fabric for the outer, and cotton for lining.
Anna (@tre_sma_a) sewed a long Alma jacket and lined it. She sewed size 36, and she used corduroy for the outer fabric, and lined it with an upcycled curtain.
Lotta (@crafts_byl8) sewed a cardigan-style jacket using a knit fabric, merino wool. She sized down 1 size, to 48, as recommended when using knit fabric. She chose the short jacket and sewed it unlined.
Josefine (@ravenorakan) sewed a short jacket, with 3/4 sleeves, in size 46. She used a heavier cotton fabric and lined the jacket with a synthetic lining fabric.
