Lo leggings is a pattern that you can use several times over! With 16 sizes, from 56 to 146, you can use it for many years.

Lo includes two variants, A: regular fit leggings in sizes 74-146 and B: leggings with extra room for a diaper, in sizes 56-110. Both variants can be sewn with elastic or waist cuff, and the legs are finished with a hem, cuffs or bow cuffs. 

Last but not least, you can sew leggings with knee patches for a cool detail and more durable leggings, perfect for active children.

Sizes: 56-146 (approx. 1 month - 11 years)

Recommended fabric: Lightweight knit fabrics, such as jersey (cotton/lycra) or french terry. The fabric should have at least 30% stretch (a stretch guide is included in the pattern).

Level of difficulty: 1-2/3 (easy to medium)

Techniques: Sewing in knits, hemming, sewing cuffs, sewing elastic to the waist. All steps are explained thoroughly in the tutorial.

Format: You have two options:

  1. PDF format: PDF-patterns include two formats: A4/letter size for home printing (19 pages), and A0 size for copy shop printing (1 sheet). The tutorial is included as a PDF-file (17 pages).
  2. Printed format: Our patterns are color-printed on high quality paper that you can use many times over. The tutorial is also color-printed, as an A4-booklet (16 pages).

Note! You don't need a serger for this garment, but you can use one for most of it.

It includes clear pictures, explanatory text and tips that will give the garment a professional look. If you’re a beginner, or new to some of the techniques this will be an opportunity for you to develop your sewing skills. The tutorial also includes a size chart and a fabric requirements chart.
